Who we are
Client Advisory provides advisory support to accounting firms and professional practices in Canada. We handle personal information in accordance with applicable Canadian privacy legislation, including the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act.
What we collect
We collect only the information required to deliver a professional engagement. This may include contact details and documents that you or your advisor provide to us in connection with that engagement. We do not collect information for marketing purposes, and this website does not use analytics or advertising cookies.
How we use and protect it
Information is used solely to perform the engagement it was provided for. Documents are transferred to secure, access controlled systems, and access is limited to the professionals working on your file. We do not sell personal information, and we disclose it only where required to complete the engagement or where the law requires disclosure.
Cookies and analytics
This site does not track you as an individual. The only cookie we set is an essential session cookie that keeps you signed in once your email address is verified. On our public pages we collect anonymous, cookie free page statistics so we can understand how the site is used; these statistics cannot identify you and are never combined with engagement records. Inside client portals we use no analytics of any kind. We use no advertising trackers anywhere. Server logs and the portal activity record exist for security, reliability, and your engagement's own audit trail.
Retention
We retain engagement records only as long as professional and legal obligations require, after which they are securely destroyed.
