How we protect your documents

Where your documents live

Your documents are stored in Microsoft 365, in SharePoint. Every connection between your device and this site is encrypted.

Who can see them

Only you and the people working on your engagement. Other clients cannot see your documents. Other firms that use this platform cannot see them either.

How sign in works

We verify your email address before showing you anything. Every sign-in link is unique to you and expires. Once you sign in, your session stays active on your device for 30 days. There are no passwords to steal.

Signatures you can rely on

Every signature is recorded as a permanent record, with the exact time, your verified email address, and a SHA-256 cryptographic fingerprint of the document you signed. Any change made to the document after signing is detectable.

What we do not do

We do not use third party analytics or advertising trackers on this portal. We do not sell or share your information. We do not send your documents by email attachment; they stay in the portal.

Electronic signatures in Canada

Electronic signatures are legally valid in every Canadian province and territory, recognized under each province's electronic commerce legislation and under PIPEDA at the federal level. A small number of document types, such as wills and powers of attorney, still require a handwritten signature; the documents you sign here do not fall in those categories. Each signature is recorded with the exact time, your verified email address, and a cryptographic fingerprint of the document.
